Robbert van der Meer

CEO

With a strong background in business development and sustainability, he has led innovative projects across various sectors. As COO of Global EcoPower Hellas, a subsidiary of Global EcoPower, which is listed on the Paris Stock Exchange, he guided strategic initiatives, leading to the successful entry of the company into the Greek market. He also served as project leader for WWF Hellas, managing significant fundraising campaigns aimed at combating climate change. Originally from the Netherlands, he founded bFlex in Athens in 2020, with the goal of tackling transport pollution in Greece. Starting with just two bicycles, bFlex has grown into the first and leading bike subscription company in Greece, now managing a fleet of 500 bicycles. His efforts have had a significant environmental impact, preventing over 80,000 kilograms of CO2 emissions. His focus remains on continuously pushing the boundaries of sustainable urban mobility through innovation and research.

Konstantinos Ioannou

CTO

With a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Piraeus (2019), Konstantinos Ioannou started working at bFlex in September 2023, driven by his focus on sustainable mobility. At bFlex, he leverages his extensive experience in web development to optimize the user experience and enhance data collection for Research and Development purposes. Prior to this, he gained experience working with technologies such as Laravel, Django, and WordPress, managing web applications and e-commerce websites. His background also includes roles in agile processes, legacy PHP projects, and tools like Git and Docker. Konstantinos is fluent in English (C2 level) and has skills in PHP, Python, Java, and C#.

The best service! everything was perfect. I took the bike to school and was faster than all the busee! you have to be a little used to driving in the traffic. Would always book it again!

One of the best bicycle services in Athens. The experience was one of a kind and the bFlex team they were very helpful and always there to help. The one time I had an issue I contacted them and they helped me right away. I took the electric bicycle and I only gave it back because traveling the service they provide you can stop when you want is very helpful if you are traveling. The bicycles were very clean responsive and clean. I recommend them very much
